Terms of Service
The terms that apply to this website, the free pilot, platform subscriptions and Camera Kit hardware.
1. The service
The service is an AI visual quality inspection platform made up of Vision Inspector, Defect Library, Line Dashboard, Root-Cause AI, Traceability, Model Trainer and the related edge software, together with optional Camera Kit hardware. Which modules you can use depends on your plan.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the people you give access to and for keeping login details safe. Account administrators control roles, including who can approve defect rules and reject limits.
3. Free pilot
The pilot runs for 4 weeks on one production line. Pilot Camera Kits are loaned and remain our property unless purchased. During the pilot the inspector runs in shadow mode unless you approve automatic rejection in writing. There is no charge and no obligation to subscribe after the pilot.
4. Your responsibilities on the line
- Reject rules, severity levels and confidence limits are set and approved by your quality team.
- You decide how reject signals are wired to your line and keep your machine safety systems independent of the platform.
- You keep your own final release and quality sign-off processes. The platform supports, and does not replace, your quality system.
5. Accuracy
Catch rate, false reject rate and review rate are measured during the pilot and reported to you before full rollout. Accuracy depends on lighting, part presentation, camera position and labeled examples, and can change if these change. We will work with you to keep accuracy at the levels agreed in writing.
6. Your data
You own your inspection images, labels, defect rules and trained models. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you. They are never used for other customers. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Subscriptions and payment
Subscriptions are billed per line per month, monthly or annually in advance, in US dollars unless agreed otherwise. Prices exclude taxes. Camera Kit hardware is invoiced separately as a one-time purchase.
8. Hardware
Camera Kit hardware carries a 24 month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship when used as installed. Damage from impact, liquids beyond the enclosure rating, or changes made without our guidance is not covered.
9. Acceptable use
The platform is for inspecting products and processes. It may not be used to monitor or identify individual workers, reverse engineer the software, or share access with third parties outside your organization.
10. Availability and support
Inspection runs locally on the edge computer and continues without internet. Cloud features such as dashboards and reports are provided with the availability and support response times of your plan.
11. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost production.
12. Ending the service
You can cancel at the end of any billing period. On cancellation we return your inspection data on request and then delete it. Either side may end the agreement if the other materially breaches it and does not fix the breach within 30 days.
13. Questions
Questions about these terms can be sent through the Lab Desk.
